Starting from the parking area on the north side of the canal, the Nature Boardwalk is a 0.3 mile loop beneath the shade of giant cypresses, following the access canal out to the river’s convergence. On the opposite side of the canal, the “Trail” leads you along a rough and rooted path above the water to another viewpoint on the river. Both trails reach the confluence of Flint Creek with the Hillsborough River.
