Greeting the morning at Blind Pass between Sanibel and Captiva led to a dilemma: better to watch the pelicans dive for breakfast, or sift through stack of seashells along the shoreline? Mom and I did a bit of both.
I injured my foot doing 14 miles on pavement at the Big O without being conditioned for it, so my hiking is a bit limited right now. The sands are soft at low tide, but beach walkers have a sweep of wild shore between Blind Pass and Baileys Beach, miles of wild wandering, to shell and savor. Check it out!
