About the Park
Trailheads at the end of Winkler Point Road in Fort Myers and Corkscrew Road in Estero provide access by foot for hikers to slosh through the tidal marshes and wet flatwoods that make up the uplands surrounding the mangrove fringe along the bay.
Launch a kayak at nearby Koreshan State Park, Lovers Key State Park, or at Matanzas Pass Preserve to explore the vast shallow tidal wilderness where dolphins and manatees take refuge.
