With a physically separate trailhead from the main portion of Isle of Pine Preserve, the Green Trail is the shorter and lesser used of the trails in the preserve.
This 1.4 mile loop and round trip provides a walk through a pine forest edging Lake Mary Jane.
In addition to views across the lake, wildflower enthusiasts can look for carnivorous plants in acidic bogs among the pines.
Access to this trail is clearly marked at the south end of the Isle of Pine subdivision, with limited parking.
