Camping cabins and mountain biking in Miami? Oleta River State Park is a surprising gem amid the bustle of this dense urban area.
It provides both beach access and paddlers a place to explore the mangrove islands of the Oleta River, as well as a place for semi-rustic camping.

About the Park
Beyond the sparkle of shoreline, what draws most visitors here is the top-notch system of mountain biking trails.
Single-track, twisty and ranging from mild to wild, these tracks are for bikers only.
Despite what the park map shows, hiking isn’t a smart idea on the bike trail system. Stick to the nature trail at the tip of the peninsula.
